About IACT

As an organization IACT believes that having a solid support network of others is an essential part of helping those who are experiencing depression and other symptoms associated with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). By engaging in project focused group activities, IACT Oregon Inc. facilitates an emotionally comfortable environment for those with similar experiences to make those valuable connections.
Josh is an amazing instructor- so patient and safety conscious! I thoroughly enjoyed the class and creating my knife! It was a really nice opportunity to focus just on the task at hand and push me out of my comfort zone. Thank you Josh!

I absolutely love the IACT concept and firmly believe in Josh’s ability to carry it out. As a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and a qualified mental health practitioner I also work closely with other veterans organizations in Oregon providing non-traditional, stigma-free, and accessible services for veterans.

Since coming home from the military I struggled with re-integrating into society. Through the IACT and blacksmith club I feel like I found a place I fit. I love transforming something that is pretty ordinary into something that’s beautiful. It’s really giving me a direction to Channel some of my internal struggles. Thanks
